How do I go about reporting someone who is here illegally?
This woman is from jordan. She came here on a visa that is now expired, she has no social security card, no identification other than an international drivers license. I need some advise on how I can go about reporting her to immigration to get her deported. She's caused a lot of problems for me and my family and the only way I can see to resolve any of these issues is to get rid of her.

Go to your local INS office.

    Or call ICE

From the ICE website (Immigration and Customs Exforcement)

"To report any suspicious activity please call 1-866-347-2423. Emailed reports of suspicious activity or "tips" are not accepted at this time. "

It is very sad that this is the only way you can work this problem out .But why don't u think about the other people that will be hurt by your actions like this ladys kids and the tax payers money your spending to get her deported . Stop and think hard before you do something out of anger.

I certainly agree to not doing something out of anger. And you have some valid points about looking at the big picture.

But remember also this person is violating our laws. She came here on a limited visa that has expired. She remains here, possibly using up taxpayer resources to help her live.

First what trouble is she causing for you and your family, stealling from you, throwing bottles though your windows/ if you have probles , just stop doing anything with her.

But while ICE and INS do a lot of deporting, there are also 1000's that never get checked out.

Yeah, good point, if she's doing something illegal call the police. They will arrest her and then it's up to them if they want to deport.

If she stole you BF or something like that, well you can try calling immigration but it may take months or years before they actually look into it.

Actually no, it is a funny point the local police have no right or authority to deport, nashville has just recently asked persmission to be able to have the authority. If the illegal does something against the law, then local police can arrest them and then hold them for INS if the INS wants them, ( most are just released)
But if the only law they have broken is illegal immigration, then the local police can not arrest them for that. Federal Government has not given local police authoirty to doit

Weird, I saw on CNN some states turn illegals arrested by police over to ICE, but I guess this isn't everywhere. I always found that odd that each state has it's own laws that can vary from one state to another.

How many of you never broke a law ? U drive the speed limit at all times and wear your seatbelts . Come on there are so many hipocrites in this world . If these people aren't hurting you or your family. Mind your own business, sweep your own porch before you try others . Get a hobby or fight hunger. Do something better with your life.

Yes rob bob but when you are caught for speeding and caught for a crime, you pay the fine and take the punishment, So when caught, they merely need to face their crime like all people do

I won't say I've never bent or broken some laws. But there is a big difference between speeding and being in the country illegally. The OP claims that this person IS hurting her or her family.
