I’m running a circuit to my garage that is 60’ away for my panel. There is going to be 3 outlet and 2 lights on this circuit. What size wire should I use for this?

#12 wire and a 20 amp circuit will be fine. If there is a chance that a large tool or appliance may be used, maybe a good idea to use #10 wire.

Remember any general purpose receptacle needs to be GFI protected. Outlets for door openers and stationary appliances, such as a freezer do not need GFI.
