I've had my amana dryer model #lga60aw for about 8 years and never had a problem until now. It doesn't heat up. It looks like it's drying but it's cool air instead of hot air. Any suggestions?

It's proabably the heating element, cost about $25. Or less, not to hard to replace.Quote:

Lopezy- did you get your dryer fixed, if so, what was the problem? I really need help. I spent 160 and my problem is still not solved.
There is a vent at the rear bulkhead that will clogged up with lint. Clean it, the blower and the vent hose all the way to where it exits the home. Any blockage of lint anywhere will cause these symptoms
