I am 8 weeks pregnant and started spotting on may 13. I haven't bleed since then and haven't had any cramps or clotting. Is this normal?

Could very well be perfectly normal and probably is, given you said it has stopped and is not accompanied by any other symptoms. If things get worse, heavy bleeding, cramping etc. I would go to your doctor immediately. Otherwise, making an appointment, if you haven't already, to start your prenatal care should be fine. Of course if you are really worried, as none of us here are doctors and haven't examined you personally, it would always be advised to just go get it checked with your doctor.
