How can I downsize my hip?
It's impossible to "spot" reduce one area, when you burn fat for energy you draw it from all areas of your body. Genetics also play a part in how certain parts of our body end up. So lowering body fat percentage may be a solution for you, you really didn't say how much you weigh or your body type, height, so I can only give you general information. Lowering body fat % comes from a healthy, samller portion diet and steady weight loss of no more than 3 pounds per week. Women tend to store more fat in the hip and thigh area then men, and it's harder to get rid of. What you need is a good overall body exercise program to reduce the storage of fat in the hips. Walking, jogging, ellipiticals, stair climbing, aerobics, biking are great for fat burning. The key to maxium fat loss is 30-60 minutes of workout 4-5 times a week. Fat loss diets are low in calories, so that means healthy food choices, whole grain breads, cereals, rice, pastas, lots of veggies and fruits, leaner meats in small portions, 2-3 oz. of meat) Dairy that is low fat, skim, partially skim products, like milk, cheese (1 1/2 oz is a serving) and yogurt. Lowering fat percentages is 50% nutriotion and 50% exercise.
Thank you for your comments.
My height is 172cm and my weight is 77Kgs.
Do you need anymore information?
Well that makes you roughly 169-170 lbs and 5 ft 7-8" tall, I stick with my original advice, lots of fruits, veggies, fiber, whole grains breads, cereals, rice and pasta. Legumes, Lean meats, snack on small amounts of seeds, nuts. Low fat dairy, is really important, especially in your case, Calcium regulates metabolism, which increases fat breakdown and decreases amount of body fat. People who eat 3-4 servings a day lose more weight and body fat, in the studies I've been involved with. These low fat, skim or partially skim products increases fat breakdown in the cells. The more calcium stored in a fat cells, the more calories the body will burn. The calcium seems to increase the bodys core temperature and this cause it to burn calories faster. 2-3 servings of low fat 1-2%, skim milk, low fat, non fat or reduced fat yogurt, and low fat, low sodium, skim or partially skim cheese i.e. mozzerella) 1 serving is 1 cup, milk or yogurt, and roughly one ounce of cheese. Your plate should be 1/2 fruit, 1/4 whole grains, pasta, rice, cereal, and 1/4 protein. Serving size of meat is 2-3 ounces. Serving size is really important, learn what one serving size is for the foods you eat, and stick with it. Drinks lots of water, no colas or presweetened drinks, cut out cakes, pasteries, cookies, chips, high sugar or high salt snacks. Bake or broil your skinless chicken, turkey breast, fish or loiun type meats, in olive or canola oil. And try the exercises I suggested above, 3-4 times a week, 30-60 minutes per session.:cool:Quote:
