How do you plum in a washer
I've just had a washer delivered and haven't got a clue what todo. (am a woman) the old ones still pluged in but am not sure how to turn of the water supply, because I've just tried taking out the red pipe and it was shooting out water, so I've scrued it backin for now, and now there's the new washer sitting in the middle of my living room! Thanksx

Ya mean they delivered your washer and didn't install it and take the old one away? Shame on them!! ( boo! Hissss!)
You should have shut off valves on the washer hoises. Shut the water off and remove the old hoses from the valves. After vyou remove the old washer attach the new hoses to the washer and move it into position. Now connect the washer hoses to the shut off valves and put the curved discharge hose in the washer stand pipe. Turn the water on and you're ready to go rub-a-dub with your washer. Good luck with your new washer, Tom
