    Numbness in right leg
Hi there can anybody help me?. Over the last 6 months I have had like a numb tingling type of sensatiom in my right thigh at he front and side of my thigh to just above the knee... I have mentioned this on several occasions to my gp but I don't get any explanations as to what this could be... Does anybody know?

It could be a pinched nerve in your sciatic area. Have you visited a chiropractor?

It may be an avenue to consider.

Another possibility is meralgia paraesthetica - it is when your femoral nerve becomes pinched beneath the iguinal ligament and various muscles on the front of your hip. It also may be linked to the sciatic nerve (as the health expert stated) but just to further your journey of possibilities... yeah. Anyway some of the causes for this impingement can be obesity, tigh clothing, lots of sitting, etc. Hope you get to the bottom of your pain, be well!
