Who wrote this book and what is the title
I read a good and very steamy historical romance a few years ago (maybe 5) about a celtic girl who believes in the old magic, but the saxons (I think) were trying to make everyone denounce the old ways. She becomes betrothed to a saxon man (once again, I think) who has the family crest of a wolf. I can only remember bits and pieces. I know that she speaks to the lady in the lake and that she has a brother. I know that her brother and her were hiding in up the trees when her future husband and his men come ( she doesn't know that she's to marry him at this time) and that she falls out of the tree on top of him. I also remember that her husband gives her a chain with rubies on it that she is to wear around her waist with a length of chain attached to it that goes between her legs (:D WOO HOO) that's about all I can remember for now. Please help me find the title to this book!
