    Basement bathroom
Ive recently did a breakout of basement slab to put in a shower drain. I have tapped into the main line to the street. The 45 degree elbow from the main line to p-trap sticks up above the filled in sand/dirt mixture (or in essence where I am to put concrete) Is this OK? I don't want to concrete the top of that pipe, correct?

    Hi John,

Just so it doesn't stick up over the floor line. Cover the fitting with visqueen, (Clear plastic) and make your pour Good luck, Tom
