    Look just below the female threads in your shower head and you will see a neoprene washer with holes around the edge. Prey it out, toss it and rub-a-dub under a full stream. Cheers, Tom

    Neoprene is synthetic rubber. Just pry out the washer and throw it away. Good luck Tom
