Maybe someone can help me out. My boyfriend was brought into this country illegally when he was 7 years old and has attended American schools all his life. However with no paper work he can not work or go to college. Is there any way to accieve a legal status for him, based on how long he has lived here. If deported he could face a life of homelessness, seeing is how he knows no one. It is scary and we could always just get married but we want to try to do it the legal way. Someone Help!
I came to the country also when I was a small boy and had some of the same questions I am sure there is a way to straighten all that out the right way legally unfortunately, it's a confusing topic for most but easy thing for me to talk about because I had that problem but for me it was a learning process and I just went on to face it and came away with my permanent residence it took me twenty four months to become a legal resident . Its not that complicated.But the fact that every one want's to be chief and there are no indians so with all the different rumors you are getting on this topic it must be confusing can share with you the way it happened for me.
