    Dog not sleeping at night
My dog every night acts like there is really bad thunder storm. Trying to get in bed with you and sleeping on your head, heavy panting and when we lock him out of the bedrooms he urinates. He gets extremely restless. Can't sit still. So even if you let him on your bed, he moves all the time. About a year ago we put down another dog and he has arthritis. He is on endep 50 for anxiety I think. But we are all fed up. Any ideas would great

    Thanks

It sounds like a long time problem and since he is under the care of a vet, I assume you have discussed it, and the vet couldn't help. Maybe I can't either. How old is he? You could try a crate, but an older dog may not adjust to it well. That way he could be in your bedroom, but not be free to crawl up on the bed. Most puppies quickly adjust to a crate. A dog that has not been crated since it was little, make take some work.
Start just putting its toys and treats in the crate. Praise it for going
in. If he has a bed, put that in the crate. Feed it in the crate. This is also an easy way to maintain order at feeding time for more than one dog.

An older dog might adjust to a tie down better. A simple length of chain with a snap to secure him to one spot in your bed room.
