It's been 5wks since my last period... I took a test yesterday that was possitive but I double cheched it w/ a digital one today.. and it was negative.. I took it as soon as I got home from school I'm going to take another in the morning do you think I might be pregnant?

False positives are far less likely then false negatives, when it comes to pregnancy tests. I would trust the first test so long as it came up positive with in the time frame given in your test instructions. The maximum time for a valid positive is usually about ten minutes (anything that appears after that time frame is in most cases considered an evaporation line). If you are a week late you first test was most likely a more sensitive then your second or if you took the second test right after drinking less hormone would have been found in your urine.

Please make sure you take the test using first mroning urine as it contains higher concentrations of hCG (pregnancy hormone). If you take it any other time of day, no matter what the directions on the test say, you run a higher risk of getting a false negative.

Go to your doctor because it is far more likely that you had a false negative then a false positive
