Tired of not knowing about bumps
OK... Well About sep '06 I had unprotected sex with a girl that I had previously dated a year earlier. The Next morning I woke up with Bumps all over the foreskin of my penis was completely broken out in a major rash. I had bumps, redness, itching, swollen raised skin, the whole nine yards. I thought that somehow someway I just was overly irritated. I used cortaid and it only made it worse. I hurt really bad and basically made it worse. Throughout the week I notice a burning sensation when I pee'd that got worse and worse. I went to the minor emergency to get checked out 7 days after the sexual encounter. The place didn't have any skin swabs (which totally made my day) but they did check my urine. The doctor said that my penis just looked irritated but said that I probably have chlamydia or the clap. He treated me for both. I ended up testing positive for chlamydia and negative for gohnorria. The sores ended up going away. Then about a week later, 1 new really red patch of skin appeared in the same spot. It got really inflamed. I went to a family practice doctor and he said that it didn't look like anything. Frustrated I went to the std clinic. The nurse at the clinic told me that it didn't look like herpes and that I might have been a yeast infection from the girl and to go home relax and put my mind at ease. Well it went away and ended up coming back this time with two red spots. They start red, the swell up, the all of the sudden they will like scab up and eventually go away. I went to a dermatologist the next 2 weeks when I broke out and he took a viral culture and gave me acyclovir cream to apply to the bump. The cream ended up giving me the worst rash ever and I had to go back. I tested negative for herpes and he gave me a steroid to get rid of the newly acquired rash. It went away and came back again about 2 weeks later. I went back and he decided at that time to do a biopsy on the skin. After about a week I got the results stating that it was just skin inflammation. Nothing else. At that time I decided to change my laundry detergent my soaps and anything else that might be causing this. Different underwear, boxers, jeans you name it I've tried it. About 3 weeks later I was in las vegas and ended up having protected sex with a girl. The next day I woke up with a slight rash, inflammation on a bump and broke open the skin that was healing from the biopsy. I went back to the derm again and he gave me another viral culture and this time did a bacterial culture. I've read everything there is to know about bumps on penis and decided to try the fungal route. I used lotriman ultra for two weeks until I got my results on the two cultures. Both of my cultures came back negative... AGAIN. Eventually the inflammation went away and everything went back to normal. Here I am now... 2 weeks later and this morning my penis was fine. At lunch time there were three red spots starting just like the others. It has been almost nine months now and I've been to every damn professional on the planet. I'm so used to this routine It doesn't even stress me out anymore. I just want some insight on what this is? What I should do? Where I should go? I'm scared and really wanting to move on.. I've used all kinds of steroid creams, anti-itch, cortaid, anti-fungal, herpes cream, everything What else do I do? I'm a 23 white male, 5'10 171lbs... been very healthy all my life. Please help somebody.

You have my sympathy and all I can think to suggest is that you contact the girl in question and ask her? I know it's likely to be humiliating but she may be able to shed some light on the subject.

MAN!! That is unbelievable, nothing personal but wow glad I am not you! I am a small animal doctor an don't claim to be anything close to properly advising you on how to medical treat this bad word bad word experience you have endured. If my little fella had your condition I would be seeking out a specialist. I refer time consuming challenges from time to time to a specialist, for 2 reasons. One the time saved visiting an trying a med thro its course only to be unsuccessful several times in a row, losing the pet owners trust in my ability to preform. Lastly it seems at first much more expensive to visit "specialists" when more often then not its considerably cheaper. Especially if your time is valuable. You have clearly shown allergy to some meds you have tried witch enforces my idea of seeking a specialist. In small animal medicine these clinical signs you have described are generally an allergy of unknown origins and a routine procedure is set in place to rule out airborne, topical, or ingestive source of the alergy. You mentioned your efforts to rule out topical possibilities. Anyhow bro I truly feel for your situation. I hope you can locate the source of recovery. I hope you return with successful results, and aplyed treatment for my curiosity.
    Good Luck!

Do you shave because that can also cause the bumps and you do become itchy

Maybe you shouldn't have unprotected sex? You think after the first scare you wouldn't. Maybe you are allergic to the female fluid...
