I filed for my federal return (did paper return) along with the application of ITIN for my spouse and child. Now I have got their ITIN and I have following queries:
1) Is it possible for me to file the CA state return online?
2) Actually I have to get a refund of $6 :) from the state and for that I might have to pay $10 for online return filing. So is it OK if I don't file the state return or is it mandatory?

1) If you have the ITINs, you SHOULD be alle to efile the CA return online.

2) You NEED to file. Given the cost of the efile, just print the return out and mail it.
