1990 honda civic hatchback dx
Problem starts when I waited for a train, shut off the motor and kept lights and stereo on, next day tried to boost it, nothing, then tried changing the battery, nothing... so when towing we bump started it by popping the clutch and putting it in first, so it runs, but won't start. We get it home and look at the spark plugs, filled with oil. So at first I just cleaned the spark plugs and contacts, then it starts whala. Running for a bit so then it happens again, so okay I figure ill take off the valve cover, change the gaskets and spark plug o rings and spark plugs, so put it back together and nothing. Bump start it and it works, and sparks and everything.
So I'm kind of stuck here, when I turn the key it doesn't crank or click or anything... all I hear is a small hum, a very faint buzz. So any suggestions... I checked the main fuse... so could this be a starter or ignition switch?
