    Funny Smell
    Hi

Any insight, advice etc most gratefully received. Had a gas leak 2 weeks ago and discovered an old pipe under the concrete floor in the kitchen (next to a redundant drain size pipe). Had the gas pipe fixed but left with 'diesel' type smell fume from the ? Old drain have had this sealed with sand, proper bung and re concreted over but the smell is still there. Have gas heating and not aware of oil heating in past any ideas on what it is and how to get rid of it

    Thanks

The house could have had a oil heater in the past and this was the line supplying oil to it. Cap it off and forget it. Regards, Tom
