I don't hate him but I am disappointed at him. He is not like a mature person. Although he is 21, he listens to his mother much. He doesn't have his own judgment. His mother doesn't like me and she tried to interfere his son's relationship with me. She won. She asked him to come back home quickly after the final exams. She didn't want his son to stay with me one more minute when classes are finished. She was afraid that his son would have intimate relationship with me.
I am determined to forget him. He said "I love you very much." How can I know that? I just know he would leave me alone at campus because he conformed to what his mother's advice. Every mother loves her children. My mother would be sad of she knows that my boyfriend treats me like that. She is proud of me and she will never know other one's mother dislike me because of biases.

How old are you can I ask?

Is there any reason why his mother does not seem to want him to be with you?

This sounds like one of those moma boy situations. In in most cases the girlfriend never wins. And if you do, then you spend a life time, of trying to please her. I know you care about him, but its okay to say goodbye. Don't feel like you lost. On a positive side, you may have gain your independence back, but not having to cater to someone who can't stand up for himself. Trust me, there will be others. Think of him as a lesson.
