Does anyone know how long it usually is from being able to feel the kittens in my cats tummy to them actually being born,I am trying to work out when they will arrive - I have a safe place all made up (well a box with some blankets - not that she uses it! lol) When I feel my cats tummy it feels like they are doing backflips in there - poor girl! However she isn't that huge - anyone have any ideas? Nipples went pink quite a while ago

I am going through the same thing you are! My cat has been "acting" like she is going to deliver for several days now. I just can not work out when they are going to come. But, the advice I got from my vet is to just leave her alone. Ha-ha I am not very good at that.

I read on a website that they give birth three weeks from the day their nipples turn pink but, who knows when that is? Their gestation period is 61-70 days. Just relax and love on her as much as you can. My Birdie has been begging for food constantly so, I have decided to get nervous when she stops that! Best wishes! We'll exchange photos when our little meowers get here! Ok?
