1) Why were you requested to take a urinalysis?

I agree with J_9, there is not enough info here to even start.
Yes, there had to be some problem to be at this point, and honestly while I am sorry for you, I hear these things all the time, you had the rules explained to you, you knew you had to go take this test, If you OK to go to the doctor, you could havve showed up at the drug test or even called and found out if you could let your doctor do the test.
Next did you call your case worker that morning and say I can't come, or did you wait till the next day, the next week, or wait till they came after the kids.
I would have been there waiting for them to open no matter what if it was my kids involved.
So while I am sorry for you, I will admit you have to hold the responsibility for not doing what you were told to do.
But at this point you need to contact social service and see what they say you have to do, and next contact the legal aid society in your area for low cost of free legal advice.
For whatever reason you must comply with the rules, and if you knew you had a test you should have been there. My experience is that people who skip these test are dirty, and they make a lot of excuses to not take the drug test, I can't say that about you, but as you have found out a doctors note will not change your obligation, and that being said you must make an appointment with your case worker to see what must be done by you to rectify the situation. Since you chose not to elaborate as to your circumstances, its hard to give any specific advice, except to honor the terms that you have been subject to.
The hardest is proving your case. CPS cares what you feel, you are only not qualified to have your child.Quote:

Why didn't the court not give you a lawer? I am not sure about laws their, but in
Texas the mom has rights. You have to wipe those tears and educate yourself with the knowledge to battle them. No one will come to your rescue you must find the knowledge on your own.
We are left not without hope or victory.
So I pray that God will give you the wisdom to battle them and pray for your children to return home, but it will NOt happen without a battle.

I am a grandma from TX having to deal with CPS.
If you never took drugs, why was the second UA required? NO money for an attorney, then go to Legal Aid. That is what they are there for - people with no money and need an attorney. Since this was the second UA, you had to know the rules.
I don't believe much of what you stated. One can read between the lines and it does not read good. You do need help, yes. To get your life clean and straightened out and to prove you deserve those children. So far, the state sees you as unfit. You got work to do.
