Pay day on the 15th and 3oth of each month
How do you figure out your gross pay if you make $16.00 an hour work 40 hours a week but you get paid on the 15th and 30th of each month? That's only 24 pays a year instead of the traditional 26 pays a year if you get paid every other week. Do I loose money?

No you don't lose money. Your pay stubs should show the accumulated amount you have been paid as well as deductions. A large part of the working world is paid this way.

Are you paid on an hourly basis? Most of the time, companies that pay on the 15th and 30th have primarily salaried employees. So their pay tends to be annualized. If you are paid as a non-exempt, then your paystub should reflect the hours worked during the pay period.

My hubby got paid on the 15th and 30th for 20 years. Just check your stub and make sure your hours look right, unless you are salaried.
