I'm 16, sexually active and not sure what to do... my boy friend was a virgin when we met and so was I and my boy friend and I have unprotected sex a lot.. and suddenly my discharge has changed from whitish, clearish to brown.. and I talked to my brothers girl friend and she said it could be horomonal changes but I don't know.. I don't get them for 1 to 2 days.. I get them for up to a week... and I have googled it but I don't know.. I can't talk to my mom about it... so I need help! Please!! :confused:

Is it just happening around your "time of the month"? It's probably just left over blood from your last period. Also, if you just recently lost your virginity you could have a minor change in your discharge. If it is happening all of the time you definitely need to see a doctor. I know it's hard to talk to parents about these kinds of things but you need to think about your health first.

Also, I just wanted to add that you should not be having unprotected sex at your age. There are many risks out there including pregnancy and STDs. Although you said your boyfriend was a virgin... stuff can still happen!
