Is is OK to take cough drops while pregnant? If so, what kind(s) are OK? :confused:

There are some that are okay however, you should contact your doctor's office for a recommendation. : )

Most cough medicines are not recommended. I would not go to your doctor, but your pharmacist. Pharmacists know more then the doctors about medications and the effects , etc...

Unless you need to see a doctor about a really bad cough, or infection then you do need to get medicine then the doctor will know what to prescribe for you.
