We are going to need more info on this mower. Mastercraft is a name used by Sears so you might get some technical info from their website. Could you give us the model number and maybe serial number? The normal sequence starts with lowering the deck all the way and disconnecting the drive belt to the dcek. Push in the clutch and pry the belt off the main engine pulley. You must match the old/new belts exactly so the belt numbers will be important.
