Can't remember his name. Not Tom Snyder. I checked Google and webcrawler. It's driving me crazy. I better add who I am not thinking of so I do not waste your time.
    Johnny Carson
    Jack Parr
Charles kuralt not late night anyway
Will add more as I think of them. Thank you.

Do you remember what time he was on? 50s, 60s, 70s?

 Emland, he was on in the 70's and I think the 80's. I don't know when he started. I cannot remember when he retired... My memory fades on that. If I knew more I would probably remember his name too LOL

The only one of the "greats" that hasn't been listed is Merv Griffin.

Still didn't mention him... Maybe I'm the only one who watched... LOL:eek:
He wasn't as well known to everyone like Steve Allen, Jack Paar or Johnny Carson.
Wouldn't be as young as Rick Dees.

Arsenio Hall hosted a late night show for a brief time, maybe back in the 80's though.

First of all Merv Griffin wasn't on late night. Merv is very well known. Remember I stated that this host was not as famous as others.

There are others not mentioned like David Frost. Still he was not late night. The person who just knows she is right about Tom Synder isn't... I will know when I hear his name. Don't forget I watched the show.

Matt3046: Your link helped trigger my memory! Thank you. You get the prize. The host wasn't actually listed but there was a name simularity and bingo I knew right away. It was cool getting everyone thinking on this. It drove me crazy... Don't you hate that when you just can't think of a name? Now... should I tell you all? Ha Ha.
