    Birth Control and Plan B
I have been on the pill for only about 13 days. For the last 2 pills that were taken, one was taken about 15 mintues early, and one was taken about 2 hours late.
I had unprotected sex and my boyfriend ejaculated inside me.
I am just a little worried and was considering taking PLan B just in case so nothing happens.
The question is, is it necessary and is it okay health wise for me?

Plan B® is an emergency contraceptive that can still prevent a pregnancy after contraceptive failure, unprotected sex, or sexual assault.

Plan B® should be taken within 3 days (72 hours) of unprotected sex and can reduce the risk of pregnancy by up to 89%. But the sooner you take it the more effective it will be.

But I will have to note, I did not know that normal birth control pills had to be taken so exact, as to 15 minutes making a difference,?
