    Memory RAM
I'm not good with computers. I want to upgrade my memory but do not know how many pins?
    I have a Compaq Presario SR1123Mw.

Just go to crucial.com and let it scan your system and it will tell you what memory to buy. Or you can search by model on the site and it will tell you.

You could also rip apart your computer and count the individual pins. :P

OK do you mean Presario SR1123WM not Mw?

I'm sure that is what you meant. I actually have the same type of PC, and have also recently upgraded my ram (as well as other things).

    Compaq Presario SR1123WM Desktop PC

This is the product website, just in case you need to know your PC's specs.

    As for Ram,

    Two 184-pin DDR DIMM
Maximum memory of 1GB, 512MB per slot.
PC2100 0r PC2700. You can use most if not all PC3200's as well.

    I'm using 1GB (2x512mb) 400mhz PC3200 DDR and things run great.

If you need to know any thing else about this computer let me know and I will see if I can help you.

eBay: Brand New 512MB PC3200 400MHz DDR RAM Memory (item 220107615508 end time May-09-07 08:58:45 PDT)

If you want to Ebay it. This ram isn't exactly brand name but if your on a budget it will work fine.
