Will this software allow me to copy DVD's that I own... I want to make some backups of movies but I'm not sure if this program will let me or if I need a special disc?? Thanks...

It probably will not allow you to copy DVD's that have protection, and most do.
Dig around at videohelp.com and you'll find what you need.

The only way to know for sure is to run the program and check all of its options. Only there, will you find the true answer to your question.
