Hello,

I own a Dell laptop; LATITUDE. The O/S is Win 98.

I am having some instabilty with the monitor. I get these green and red bands of color vertically on the screen, flashing and making it difficult to read web pages, word docs... etc.

Can this be fixed or do I need a new laptop?

HI Dan,
I had your problem before. Is your laptop old? I had old laptop and it gave me that problem. So I just make sure that everything is intact, like noting loose. Well before you try to make sure of that. After that turn your laptop on and that's all good.
If this sound too complicated, just go to the shop and asked them to check it for you. It won't cost much.
