redneckmom - many years ago I was diagnosed with very mild degen. Disc disease. I did a lot of research and what I found out is that diet has a lot to do with it (not enough water, vitamins, etc) which I had a terrible diet as a young person. But I went into pain management and they did something called "radio frequency lesioning" and I am pain free now and have been for 2-3 years.
