It could be a whole array of things causing this from nothing more serious than a growth spurt to something as serious as anorexia (yes, boys can be anorexic too), it could also be health related such as diabetes.
Have you made an appointment with your pediatrician to discuss this?
Has he been checked out by a dr to make sure his weight loss was not too much or too sudden? Take him. Let the dr know your son won't eat now. Could be an eating disorder. He may fear gaining the weight again. Ask the dr what he thinks, and talk about a referral for a psychologist specializing in eating disorders. (They don't just happen to girls... )
Sudden weight loss is also a symptom of Diabetes Type 1, otherwise known as childhood diabetes.
