I live in the state of California. I am 18, and I understand that it is illegal for me to have sex with anyone under 18 here. But, is it illegal for me to date a 15 year old if there is no sex involved?

It is not illegal to date, but if the relationship ends up sexual, you want to risk spending years in prison.
