    Transplanting trees
How do I transplant wild trees in my yard? How tall can they be to safely move. We have fir cedar and pine?

Interesting that your last name that you have given is also the name of a tree! :)

I don't know where you live. But, information contained in the following sites may be of help to you. I hope that it is.

I have a white oak tree in my back yard, last summer I noticed a seedling growing in my front shrubs, this year is it about 4 ft tall. I would like to move it out to my front yard, but don't want to get it out of where it is too early. I have the hard plastic edging right where its coming up, and the tree is leaning over. When can I move it, and when is the best time to do it. Will I need a rootball or no.
Thanks ahead of time!! We live in south centeral Tennessee.
