Please, I have 4 grandchildren from 3 to 11 living with me. Every time someone uses the loo for a number 2, the smell just stays around for days unless we use disinfectant when we use. The door has to stay shut with the toilet lid down and its very embarrassing when we get visitors. Can you tell me if the toilet is blocked with something or do I just need to buy a new toilet. I have read some of your comments and Im not sure if they fit my problem. Thank you:o Alison

A bathroom exhaust fan is needed here. Install one and wave bye-bye to your odor problem. Cheers, Tom

Thanks speedball1, Hehehehe! Nice one, but I think it needs more than a exhaust fan. Seriously the smell is coming from the bowl, I might go and check those other questions you have answered and give it a go. I might try the toothbrush job.:D
