    I Missouri does the 3 day right of rescission apply to a lease?

    The right of recission under federal law applies to loans used to purchase real estate. You can check the sticky note at the top of this forum to check MO laws. But I would just inform the landlord that you were backing out and see what he says.

    It helps somewhat, the sticky was no help. I just wish I knew a definite answer. If all else fails I will do what you said and just let them know I'm backing out.

    No here is not right to resind any lease in MO unless the least specificly gives you that right, once signed and agreed to is a binding

    But talk to the landlord, many will be willing to void the lease and just keep the money paid. ** but others may not.
