Yes it is illegal. You will go to jail with a quickness if you are dating someone under 18 in Georiga. I live in Georgia. I've heard enough stories of people getting sent to jail for being with someone under age and that is just disturbing. What does an 18 year old want with a 14 year old that's practically still a baby in his or her life experience? And please don't feed me some crap about loooove. Gah :(

First a 14 year old is a child, and dating there would be nothing in common.

First you have many legal issues, if the parents would for example tell the 18 year old not to see or date the 14 year old, but they did, they could look at interfering with custody, If the 14 year old was told not to, and the 18 year old did anyway, leading to the deliquency of a minor, since the 18 is making the 14 disobey the parents

And if they had sex, no matter if parents said it was OK or not, it is statutory rape and a felony. The 18 would be listed as a sexual prediotor and the 18 would go to prison.

Yeah, it's wrong but it seems more people are doing it. My friend is 17 an he go-n out wit a 14 year old. Another kid in my area is messed up, a girl in 8th grade was go-n out wit a boy in the 4th grade,! Gosh, find someone about you age an you b fine. I 18 going to be asking a 16 year old girl out, those numbers match up better.
