I'm scared I have breast cancer!
Hiya I'm 15 years old and have recently found a small lump underneath my nipple. A few days later my breast swelled up and has started aching. Yesterday I found something underneath my nipple and it carries on all the way to my armpit. What is wrong with me? Is it just puberty??

The best thing to do would be to tell your parents about this and get to your doctor as soon as possible and have it checked out. If you wait to go to your doctor things could get worse.

It could be puberty. It could be just some kind of infection. Cancer doesn't usually spread that far in just a few days, though. Probably isn't cancer.

Please ease your mind and tell your parents and get to a doctor. May be that taking an antibiotic medicine for awhile will clear things up.

Go to your doctor. That is the first thing you should do if you have any health concern.

I personally do not believe it is cancer. Cancer of the breast does not grows that fast, but best way to find out what it could be is to be examined.

No one can tell but your doctor. Go see a doctor RIGHT AWAY.

It is true no one can tell you but your doctor, however, this sounds like it could be breast buds. Do you have breasts already? If not, this is usually a symptom of your breasts beginning to grow.

Do you have a family history of breast cancer?

First of all, everyone has given you the best advice ever, tell your parents and go to the doctor. Secondly, it could just be a swollen or infected gland. I had a very very similar experience and it turned out that a gland was infected, antibiotics cleared it right up.

Will you stop it already. Go to your doctor. That is it. Stop fearing something that is probably not the case. Get it checked by a professional. Let us know what are the results are. Instead of going on about it and continuing with the unbased fear, get it checked out.

Sweetie, it most likely is not breast cancer because you are so young. However, cancer does not pick the age of the person that it infects. You NEED to see your doctor about this. We cannot diagnose over the internet, it is impossible.

However, you have been asked a few questions that may be of some help to us, yet you have not answered them.

    Have you been sick recently?
Do you have a history of breast cancer in your family?

Please answer these and get your mom to make a doctor's appointment for you.
