    Boyfriend not so affectionate
    Hi everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I started dating a guy, after breaking up with my boyfriend of 2 years (because he was too nice to me, it's sad, I don't know why it works like that)

Unfortunately, I'm not use to not being showered with affection now. I know the problem lies with me, but I just thought I'd ask anyway.

What should I do to let him know I want him to cherish me more and be more affectionate?

ONE MORE THING. Things in general just don't feel that right. Is that just because they're different from my last and only serious relationship and I can't help but compare?

You left your boyfriend to be with this person, right? Ever hear of the saying the grass is not always greener on the other side. That is what your dealing with now. If you want to continue this relationship with the person your with now. Communication is important. Tell him what you feel and see where that goes. If he does not improve or does not show much then maybe he does not care for you as much as you would like.

    Thanks for your advice Joe,

I do know he cares, because we've had some deep conversations about 'us'

But nothing about being more affectionate, I should bring the topic up, but it's just a little awkward.

But hey, I guess not everything in life is cruisy cruisy

    Nope, not cruisy cruisy.

Communication, That is the only way to be with each other, and to let each other know what each other is feeling. Communication is key in every relationship. Some are better then others in communication, but usually the lack of it is what causes the problems and misconceptions.

It might not be smooth sailing but that is the art of working through things and getting to know each other even better. Will help. No matter what may happen.

Communication is the most important! If you cannot talk to him and tell him how you are feeling he is not right for you or you may not be right for him! Good Luck Sweeite...
