    Problem with Internet Explorer
Every time I type an address without http:// I receive an error message. I can't just type www.whatever.com to go to that site. I have to type http://www.whatever.com. I have to do this for every site I want to visit.

    Can someone help please.

    Web addresses
    Hi,
I am not 100% sure this will solve the issue, but try this:
At any website, click on Tools at the top, then click on Internet Options.
At top of that window, click on the Advanced tab.
Scroll down to "Use inline autocomplete for web address" and left click on it to put a checkmark in the box.
Then, left click on "Use inline autocomplete for windows explorer", to put a checkmark by it also.
Click on Apply, then click on OK.
    I hope this solves it.
    Have a great day,
    fredg

    Press2Esc
    Reset Default Settings
Reset all your Internet settings to the default setting/configuration. Control Panel > [Security] [Privacy][Advanced]...

    P2E
