    My shower head whisles, why?

I have just replaced my shower head, and now find that the new one makes a high pitched sound when I run water through it. Can you tell me how to correct this.

Your noise is caused by something loose in the shower head vibrating as the water rushes past it. This could be a small chunk of mineral dislodged from the pipe wall as you installed the shower head. The solution would be to remove the shower head and check it for anything loose inside it. Now turn the shower back on to flush out the valve body and shower raiser. Good luck, Tom
