    My mouth is numb
I am having numbness in my mouth and the other day I had a leg that would not work it was like it was numb and my hands have been going numb also. Any suggestions on what to do. I am tired of going to the ER or doctor and them finding nothing wrong. Please help if you have any ideas.

First lets start with any medications you may be on including any herbal medications. If you are on several medications, there could be interactions causing this.

Next, do you currently have any medical problems?

Then we can try and go from there. But we have to start with the basics.

Oh, dear, I believe you are on WAY too many antidepressants and this may be the cause of your problem. I believe that there may be an interaction with particularly the zoloft and the elavil, but you need to bring these problems up. You should start with your pharmacist and s/he should know everything you are taking and at what levels. Have him/her look up any interactions (I do know that zoloft will increase the effects of elavil). The pharmacist has much more info on all these meds and their cross-interactions.

    So, you should start there.

Well they do know I get all of my stuff at the same pharmacy plus I work in a pharmacy I am a pharmacy technician so I have asked to make sure of no drug interactions. That is not the problem

Okay, good for you. Now that we have that out of the way...

Have you had your blood levels drawn recently? I see that you are on coumadin.
