    Limit switch
I live in an older trailer but the furnace is about 2 yrs old where is the limit switch located? Every time I use the air conditioner it trips the limit switch how do I fix it without having to call someone and have a pricey bill. :(

The air conditioner should not trip the limit switch. The limit switch is only used as a safety device for the heating. I think you probably have a different problem.

I agree with the answer above. I think maybe you have something confused. Do you have any more info??

In a furnace, the limit switch shuts off the gas leaving the blower run. Go to the sticky at the top of the Heating forum and browse through it so you can get back to us. It is very important to let us know if it is a heat pump.
