Moble home repo on private property, not owned by moble home owner
I am the land owner of some property in Georgia, I let my Sister place her mobile home on this private property. The question is, does the repo company have the right to come on my property and destroy my trees, bust water lines, run over my shrubs etc, be rude and over barring without contacting me first?

    Thanks

    Larry.

They do not have the right to destroy or damage your property. They DO have the right to repossess the trailer, assuming its been delinquent. There is no law against being rude.

You can take them to small claims court for the cost of the damage to your property. Make sure you have receipts or estimates.

Let me add that a certain amount of collateral damage might be allowable. I damage was not willful and unavoidable due to the position of the motot home, a court might rule against you.
