Somehow I can't see this as a homework question, if so what are we studying the NRA?
But the six shooter was not that much help in any of the Indian Wars, the range was not far enough. The repeater rifle was the main weapon that changed the Indian wars.
But just honestly, it was the fact that we had 1000's of troops and they had little numbers of fighters, so we could have used sling shots and finally won just by having so many more troops than they had.
In the military, traditionally, hand guns were carried mostly for show. Attachment 3396Quote:
