Hi Everybody,

Right now I am living in 1 Bedroom apartment and I need to move to 2 Bedroom Apartment because my family is coming. Actually I didn't know that its require 2 bedroom apartment for 3 people. Now I have 1 year lease for this 1 bedroom apartment and when I had a talked with my landlord, he says if you move you have to pay for whole year rent.

Do anybody knows what is the exact law or rules or penalty for terminating lease in certain condition.

I am ready to pay penalty but whole year rent is not possible because its only 2 months I am moved to this apartment.

Will your landlord allow you to sublease? You agreed to lease for a year and he will prevail in court if you default.

Yes, he told me that he will allow sublease but I don't know anybody here. As such I am not going to leave the apartment until he can re-rent it. If he can allow me to live with my son charging some money then well n good. I don't know it is possible.
