    Worrying women's problems
I am currently waiting for a appointment to see a gyn. Doctor but it is taking a while and I'm getting more worried. I have very irregular periods (2 in 6months), constant period pain, tugging/pulling/stinging sensations in womb, re-occuring thrush, moodswings, tiredness, nausea, bloating and irritable bowel. My doctor thinks it may be endomatriosis as I have a family history of it or maybe polycystic ovarian syndrome. I have one child and I have been trying to conceive again for 9 months but as I am rarely having periods I mustn't be ovulating. Do you have any advice?

    Pickerill,

I have had endometriosis, many years ago and it was irregular, but painful.
The best doctor was at the Mayo Clinic and he was the first who diagnosed the
Problem but was unable to give me a permanent solution.
Endometriosis is a unhealthy condition of the body, but unhealthy conditions can
Be created by bad eating habits and can be restored to healthy conditions with
Proper eating habits. My advice is to take the simplest approach and that is to
Eat properly. What constitutes good eating habits? You will need to discover that
Through research, but I improved my eating habits and for the last 4 years have been
Very healthy. I discovered a lot about protein, such as fish, shrimp, eggs and milk
And one of the best adjustments that I made was to increase the protein intake,
Lower carbohydrates and exercise. I weigh 120 pounds, 5' 2", so I am where I should
Be, I eat about 3/4 of a pound of seafood every second day, alternating with other
Proteins between. Protein is the main constituent of cells. Endometriosis is a disorder
Of the cells. It has worked for me. Be careful of the medical profession, remember, they
Are in business to make money and sell operations. Healthy people do not need
    Doctors. Artemis

I have had endometriosis for years and I can tell you that it is not a disorder of the cells. Endometriosis is when tissue that looks and acts like the lining of the uterus grows outside of the uterus in other areas. Most the time the tissue grows on the bladder, bowels, ovaries, behind the uterus, or on the tissues that hold the uterus in place, however, it can grow anywhere. Endometriosis is something that cannot be cured so eating right will not make this go away. Sometimes surgery can help by removing the tissue that has grown but this will not prevent new tissue from growing. In some women endometriosis does go away after pregnancy.
Talk to your doctor about your symptoms. For me it took awhile to find out that endometriosis was what was causing all my symptoms and pain.
Good luck, and keep us updated.

You say that the disorder is of the tissue and not of the cells.
You obviously do not know that tissue comprises of cells.
If you cannot understand facts and a system of logic, then you will never find the correct answer.
