    Pain after crown work
I just had a crown put in and I am having pain deep inside the tooth. Does anyone have an answer to what this might be?

Just had it done last week. Did you have a root canal before your crown?

Crowns can be very unfortable at first. Your gums could be irritated from the procedure and it could cause aching or burning in that specific area of your mouth.

    -OR-

The crown might now fit correctly causing you to have pain when you bite down on things. It might need to be adjusted.

    -OR-

If you DIDN'T have a Root Canal, a part of your nerve could be exposed and that would cause a lot of pain... in that case you should make an appointment to see your dentist as soon as possible and tell them what's going on.

    -OR-

If you DID have a Root Canal, there could still be nerve left inside of your tooth which would also cause a lot of pain and you should tell the dentist immediately so they can fix this problem.

You didn't really give me many details to work with... so those are just some possible causes of your pain.

Also... Is that area sensitive to hot or cold?
