    Lobstergate
There is a major disconnect between the US military and the rest of the nation. How could one conclude anything else when watching the hysteria over the fact that the military sprung for lobster and steak meals for soldiers about to be deployed in war on our behalf?
1st reported by TMZ and later picked up by the compliant press , the headline read that Pete Hegseth's Department of Defense (War) "BLEW through tens of billions in one month ... including huge splurges on steak, lobster, crab, fruit baskets, and furniture .."

Pete Hegseth lobster tails: Guess what the Department of Defense is spending an absurd amount of money on.

Then on CNN ,Clintoonian Paul Begala reported it as if it was all for Hegseth's personal use. Scott Jennings rightly called out his BS.

The truth ? Soldiers frequently get served more than MREs or spam lamb .

    Shocking isn't it ?
Here's a secret ....... the military FREQUENTLY serves the troops steak and lobster . They have done it for decades before major deployments .

Don't believe me ? Ask someone who has served .

James A. Gagliano on X: "I enjoyed “steak night” in Mess Hall every Thursday for four years as West Point cadet between ‘83 and ‘87. Highlight of week. During three short deployments to Afghanistan between 2002 and 2003, I enjoyed steak and crab legs once a week (when available) in Mess Hall on Bagram" / X

Of all the wasteful spending associated with the military ,this is what they sink their teeth in ?

Guess this wasn't an issue when the emperor reigned .

It did get brief notice when Clueless Joe had troops in harms way.
"blueberries, ice cream and doughnuts also exceeded $100,000.”

What was this ;something like a day's worth of Somali Medicaid fraud in Minnesota ?

The real story here is how BS like this can be taken seriously. It speaks of a disconnect between the few who serve and stand guard at the gate ;and the people they protect.

When our elected leaders also advance such an outrageous lie ,it is inexcusable.
Rep. Debbie Dingell on X: "Trump and Republicans took food assistance away from hungry children, working parents, and veterans while enjoying $93 billion of things like lobster and steak. https://t.co/rfPtw5RDll" / X
