    Skin covering eye
I have a 4 week-old kitten and she is constantly sneezing, has a runny nose and her left eye is watery. I took her to the vet and he said she had a head cold and prescribed some eye ointment. I have been using the ointment 3 times a day and her eye is still watery. Also it looks like the pink skin under her eye is starting to grow and completely cover up her eye. Does anyone know what's going on and/or suggest what to do or is this just a symptom of a kitten cold?

Thanks for the help. I went through the website and I thought she might have feline herpes virus or something. I also went back to the vet and he said that she had an upper respiratory virus and gave me some oral antibiotics called Clavamox and a stronger eye medication called Tobramycin Ophthalmic Solution USP. She is doing better now. Her eye is almost back to normal and sneezing a lot less. Thanks for all of your help.
