Google strikes major nuclear power deal to fuel AI data centers with 50 megawatt capacity.

The article goes on to describe this deal, which will involve more electrical generation that currently exists in the state of Alabama, will largely be used to power AI projects. That's mind-boggling. At least they are not going down the silly road of solar power.

We are at a crossroads . We cannot advance and be competitive with ancient energy generation technology like wind the sun and water power. They can be incorporated into the grid but are ultimately unreliable and inefficient as a primary source. They are not even transitional sources . LNG is the closest thing to that.

Amazon has already cut a deal with a Small Modular Reactor (SMR ) company.

The power needs for AI are enormous. Rest assured that the luddite left will organize their opposition.

It is noted that the building they occupy is huge . The William Jefferson Clinton building is a perfect symbol of a government that has grown well beyond it's constitutional mandate.
